> Challenge

At the request of Phanar Legal Ltd., a law firm and legal consultancy company based in London, we performed brand renewal tasks.

With the logo, we wanted to emphasize the values and activities that best characterize Phanar.

The Greek word 'Φανάρι' (phanar) means 'lantern', 'light' or 'torch', so one of the inspirations was given by the word flame. In addition, we wanted to sneak in a key moment of lawyer work, and legal advice, so the moment of signing, as the display of authentication and authenticity, also provided a creative basis for the design.

> Outcome

In the end, we managed to come up with a logo that provides the possibility of association with both the tip of the fountain pen and the candle flame. The cornerstone of the new image, the new logo, is a combination of an elegant, yet simple geometric emblem and a clean, legible, narrow font.

Next came the business card design, letterhead and envelope design, and then we were able to present a few digital visualizations as an outlook for the next design phase.
