Ovee

> Challenge

The idea of the Ovee application was born in the summer of 2019, with the basic concept of creating a unified platform for finding ideas and counselling efforts of kindergarten teachers by digital tools.

At the Ovee application, Blank Design not only performed comprehensive branding tasks, but since the very beginning, we were involved in designing their website and its implementation, user interface and structure of the application, creating social media material and and provided strategic consulting.

When designing Ovee’s visual appearance, we thought that one of the most important aspects is to create a friendly, playful, yet modern look.

> Outcome

The logo embodies the relationship between a kindergarten teacher and a child, the attention, assistance, and mutual trust in the form of a simple “scene”. The presentation of the silhouette character has the ease of use and clarity.

The brands color palettes and fonts are based on the information obtained from preliminary outlook orientation and questionnaire research. We have created personas from the outlined target group, thus formed the cornerstones of the current visual framework.

However, we wanted to avoid an overly modern look, so in several places we used drawing graphics to dissolve the “sterile” way of depiction of applications. When developing the app, we tried to keep in mind the importance of gamification, so a mascot figure, Krumplee ®, came into the picture, so we created this lovable character.

According to our plans, the Ovee app not only allows organization and coordination of tasks, but also aims to create a repository of ideas and knowledge base in which kindergarten teachers can share their ideas, download and upload different relevant  literature, evaluate and comment on them, by all this constantly helping each other and building a community. In addition, they can receive useful tips on a weekly basis, in the form of short articles. The app is currently under development.
